Plan shifts, secure handovers, win back time

Kelora brings duty scheduling, shift handovers and care documentation into one web app for German nursing homes — clear for every ward, safe for every resident.

The landing page — a live ward duty roster
Overview

Kelora replaces the binders and whiteboards a nursing ward runs on. Duty rosters, shift handovers and the SIS care documentation live in one place, separated ward by ward and built to pass an MDK audit. It speaks four languages (DE, EN, RU, PL), works offline as a PWA, and was built alongside real caregivers — for the floor, not the office.

The problem

A care ward runs on paper: the Dienstplan on a whiteboard, handovers passed on verbally and forgotten, SIS care planning in thick binders, medication double-checks and audit proof done by hand. When the MDK or Heimaufsicht turns up, pulling that evidence together is a scramble — and overdue evaluations quietly slip through.

The approach

Kelora models the ward, not a generic org chart. Every observation is captured with a priority and escalated to the next shift automatically; the medication Gabe-Board enforces the four-eyes principle on high-risk drugs and exports gap-free proof per ward in one click; the SIS lives in the app with timely reminders for every due evaluation. Data stays scoped to each ward, role by role, with DSGVO-first design and passkey sign-in.

What it does

1

Live duty roster

The whole ward reads the week at a glance — early, late and night shifts, leave and open slots — with real-time staffing like “6/6 · 0 open”.

2

Handovers that don’t get lost

Every note is logged with a priority; falls and critical observations escalate to the next shift automatically, so what happens at night reaches the early shift.

3

Four-eyes medication

The medication Gabe-Board enforces a second check on high-risk drugs and produces gap-free proof for MDK and Heimaufsicht at the push of a button.

4

SIS, digitised

The Strukturierte Informationssammlung lives in the app instead of a binder, with timely reminders for every overdue evaluation.

5

Audit-ready by design

§113c PeBeM, ArbZG-compliant hours, the four-eyes principle and a one-click Prüfpaket export — the evidence an inspection expects, ready before it arrives.

6

Safe on every ward

Ward-level data separation role by role, DSGVO-first, 2FA and passkeys, and a PWA that keeps working offline on the floor.
